The Past Continuous

Here comes the second post in our new series on the English tense system. The past continuous is a fairly simple tense to learn and use. For example, I could tell you what I did yesterday afternoon: On Wednesday afternoon I was walking through the beautiful Park Labyrinth in Horta with my friend Cat and her little daughter Bella. We were hiding Easter eggs for Bella and she had a great time looking for them.

Now, watch the video to find out more about the past continuous tense and if you want, let me know what you were doing yesterday afternoon in the comment section below!
