Today’s post is another double post. This time we’ll be looking at the future perfect simple and the future perfect continuous. Both of these future tenses could be described as the ‘past of the future’. That means, that we imagine ourselves into the future and then we look back at events that will have started (and possibly even finished) by that time.
At the moment I am still on holiday but on Monday I have to go back to work. So by this time next week I will have seen my colleagues again. And I’m very much looking forward to that because I have lovely colleagues!
Next week Tuesday it’s the 1 August. This is a special day for me because by then I will have lived in Barcelona for 4 years!
