Tim Brown About Tim Brown

Tim has taught English in Japan, Russia and the UK and is now working as a teacher trainer for International House based in Bangkok, Thailand. While in Russia, he also trained as an opera singer and took part in performances all over Russia – music and opera are his great love. He specialises in teaching English for Academic Purposes and helping students improve their pronunciation. His first degree is from Oxford University in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and in 2011 he finished a Masters in Music from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

I met Tim whilst he was studying in Manchester. We worked for the same English language school and I have come to appreciate his great command of the English language (with his posh British accent!) and his good sense of humour. I am delighted that he has decided to contribute regularly to this blog.
